It had been a whirlwind, but K-con was over and we were to leave
LA the following day, never to return until we felt like returning. I missed
Gabie instantly, and we texted, using words, emojis and the language
of love. We had a lot in common. We had both lived in different
countries. She had lived in Argentina, Spain, France and Korea and I
had lived in England, China, and Korea. The conversation kept flowing
and it felt like we had known each other for our whole lives, without
knowing it. If you know what I mean then you know what I knew in that
moment, when I knew there was more to know and that, in some way,
I already knew it, you know?
