Most nuts and seeds are fine on a keto diet, but they can
take some people with metabolic syndrome out of ketosis. If
you are extremely metabolically damaged and your goal is
to lose weight, I highly recommend that you consume
ketogenic dishes that use nuts, seeds, or nut flour in
moderation, not every day. There are so many recipes to
choose from in this book that you should never feel
deprived! Nuts are also constipating, so if you suffer from
lack of stool elimination, I suggest that you limit or cut out
nuts, as well as dairy.
