Flexible Organization

Squad*

In a Squad, employees are usually deployed on a temporary and interdisciplinary basis and

work in an end-to-end responsibility on a common goal (e.g. feature, product, ...).

A Squad ...

− organizes and controls itself mainly independently

− works for the overall objective of the Tribe

− determines the working method (for example: SCRUM)

− regularly reflects and uncovers potential for improvement

A Squad-Leader ...

• leads the employees in the Squad professionally


• is responsible for the goals of the Squad


• prioritizes the tasks in the Squad
