ا عَلهَم َّ

ٓ
امَ
َ
ك
َ
وب
ُ
قيَعْ
يمٌ حَ كِ يمٌ ِكَ عَل َّب رَ

ن

إ ۚ

ٰ
حَ

َ
و
6 And thus your Lord will chooseyou, and will teach you theinterpretation of events, and willcomplete His blessing upon you andupon the family of Jacob, as He hascompleted it before upon yourforefathers Abraham and Isaac.Your Lord is Knowing and Wise.هِِتوَ ٧

8 When they said, “Joseph and hisbrother are dearer to our father thanwe are, although we are a wholegroup. Our father is obviously in thewrong.٩

مً ا صَ وْ

9 “Kill Joseph, or throw himsomewhere in the land, and yourfather‘s attention will be yours.Afterwards, you will be decentpeople.”١٠

ك
10 One of them said, “Do not killJoseph, but throw him into thebottom of the well; some caravanmay pick him up—if you must dosomething.”ا ١١

11 They said, “Father, why do you nottrust us with Joseph, although wecare for him?”١٢

12 “Send him with us tomorrow, thathe may roam and play; we will takecare of him.”هِ ١٣

13 He said, “It worries me that youwould take him away. And I fear thewolf may eat him while you arecareless of him.”١٤

14 They said, “If the wolf ate him, andwe are many, we would be good fornothing.”
