ٰ

تَكِ

ْ

ةٍ و َّ ٱل

ُ

ق

ِ

ۖ ب

ُ

ه

ٰ

نَ

ْ

ي

َ

اتءَ

َ

مَ و

ْ

كحُ

ْ

ٱل

ا

ًّ

ي

ِ

بصَ

12 “O John, hold on to the Scripture

firmly,” and We gave him wisdom in

his youth.

ا ١٣

ًّ

يقِ

َ

ت

َ

ان

َ

ك

َ

و ۖ

ً

وٰ ة

َ

ك

َ

ز

َ

ا و

َّ

ن

ُ

د

َّ

ن ل

ِّ

ا م

ً

انحَ نَ

َ

و

13 And tenderness from Us, and

innocence. He was devout.

ا ١٤

ًّ

ي

ِ

ارًا عَص

َّ

ن جَ ب

ُ

يَكمْ

َ

ل وَ

ِ

ه

ْ

ي

َ

د

ِ

ل

ٰ

وَ

ِ

ا ب

ۢ

بَرًّ وَ

14 And kind to his parents; and he

was not a disobedient tyrant.

مَ يَ وْ ١٥

َ

و

ُ

وت يَ مُ مَ يَ وْ

َ

و

َ

دِ وُ لمَ يَ وْ هِ

ْ

ي

َ

عَ لمٌ

ٰ

َ

ل

َ

س

َ

و

ا

ًّ

حَ ي

ُ

ع َ ث

ْ

بيُ

15 And peace be upon him the day

he was born, and the day he dies,

and the Day he is raised alive.

ى فِ ٱذ

ِ

ب

ٰ

تَكِ

ْ

ذِ ٱل

ِ

إيَ مَ رْمَ

ْ

ت

َ

ذ

َ

بٱنتَ

ْ

نمِ

ا

ًّ

يقِرْ

َ

ا ش

ً

ان

َ

كا مَ هَِل

ْ

ه

َ

أ

16 And mention in the Scripture Mary,

when she withdrew from her people

to an eastern location.

َ

ل

انَ

ْ

ل

َ

سرْ

َ

أ

َ

ا فجَ ابً حِ مْ

ن دمِ

ايًّ

ِ

و

َ

رًا س

َ

ا بَشهَ

َ

ل

َ

ل

َّ

ثمَتَ

َ

ا فَوحَ نرُ

17 She screened herself away from

them, and We sent to her Our spirit,

and He appeared to her as an

immaculate human.

ٓ

ى

ِّ

ن

ِ

إتْ

َ

ال

َ

ق

ِ

ن

ٰ

ا مَحْٱلر َّ

ًّ

يقِ

َ

تنتَ

ُ

ن ك

ِ

نكَ إمِ

18 She said, “I take refuge from you

in the Most Merciful, should you be

righteous.”

ُ

ولسُ رَ

ا

َ

ن

َ

19 He said, “I am only the messenger

of your Lord, to give you the gift of a

pure son.”

ى ٢٠

ل

ُ

ون

ُ

يَ ك

ٰ

ٌ

20 She said, “How can I have a son,

when no man has touched me, and I

was never unchaste?”

هكِ ُّب رَ

َ

قكِ ِل

ك

َ

ال

َ

ۖ ق

ٌ

ني ِّ

َ

عَ لجْ

َ

رًا مْ ۥٓ نِلوَ

َ

أ

َ

ان

َ

كا ۚ وَ

َّ

ن

ِّ

ً

ةمَحْرَ وَ اسِ

َّ

لن

ِّ

ل

ً

ايَةءَ

ا

ًّ

يضِ

ْ

قم َّ

21 He said, “Thus said your Lord, `It

is easy for Me, and We will make

him a sign for humanity, and a

mercy from Us. It is a matter already

decided.'“

22 So she carried him, and secluded

herself with him in a remote place.

ا هَ ءَ ٢٣

ى

ل

ِ

ننتُ

ُ

ك

َ

ا و

ذ

قت ُّ ى مِ نِتَ

ٰ

يَ

23 The labor-pains came upon her,

by the trunk of a palm-tree. She

said, “I wish I had died before this,

and been completely forgotten.”

24 Whereupon he called her from

beneath her: “Do not worry; your
