الفرقان 25 The Criterion

حَصْ

َ

ةِ َّجَ ن أ

ْ

ا رًّ ٱ ل

َ

قتَ

ْ

س م ُّ رٌ

ْ

ي

َ

ذٍ خئِمَيَ وْ

ً

يلاقِ مَ

ُ

ن

َ

سحْ

َ

أ

َ

و

24 The companions of Paradise on

that Day will be better lodged, and

more fairly accommodated.

تمَ يَ وْ

َ

ءُ و

ٓ

امَ

َّ

ٱلس

ِ

ِم ب

ٰ

مَ

َ

غ

ْ

ٱ ل

َ

ل

ِّ

ز

ُ

ن

َ

و

َ

كِئ

ٓ

ٰ

َ

لمَ

ْ

ٱ ل

ُ

ة

ً

يلا

ِ

نز

َ

ت

25 The Day when the sky is cleft with

clouds, and the angels are sent

down in streams.

كُ ٢٦

ْ

لمُ

ْ

ٍذِئمَيَ وْ ٱل

ُّ

حَ ق

ْ

مً ا يَ و ْ ٱ ل

َ

ا ن

َ

ك

َ

و ۚ

ِ

ن

ٰ

مَ حْ ل ر َّ ِل

ى

َ

عَ ل

َ

ين

ِ

رفِ

ٰ

َ

ك

ْ

يرً اعَ سِ ٱل

26 On that Day, true sovereignty will

belong to the Merciful, and it will be

a difficult Day for the disbelievers.

٢٧

يَ عَ ضمَ

ْ

يَ و

َ

مُِال و

َّ

ٱلظ

ُ

ول

ُ

يَ قهِيْ يَ دَ

ٰ

ى

َ

عَ ل

ى نِتَ

ْ

ي

َ

ل

ٰ

يَ

َ

خ

َّ

ٱت

ُ

ت

ْ

َعمَ ذ

ِ

ول

ُ

سٱلر َّ

ً

يلا

ِ

ب

َ

س

27 On that Day, the wrongdoer will

bite his hands, and say, “If only I had

followed the way with the

Messenger.

َ

لا

ُ

ف

ْ

ذخِ

َّ

ت

َ

أمْ

َ

ى لنِتَ

ْ

ي

َ

ل

ٰ

ىتَ

َ

ليْ

َ

و

ٰ

يَ

28 Oh, woe to me; I wish I never took

so-and-so for a friend.

٢٩

ِ

ى عَ ن

ِ

ن

َّ

ل

َ

ض

َ

أ

ْ

د

َ

ق

َّ

ل

ِ

ر

ْ

ك

ِّ

ٱلذ

َ

ان

َ

كى ۗ وَ

ِ

نءَ

ٓ

جَ ا

ْ

ذ

ِ

إ

َ

د

ْ

بَع

ُ

ن

ٰ

َ

ط

ْ

ي

َّ

ٱلش

ً

ولا

ُ

ذ

َ

خ

ِ

ن

ٰ

َ

نس

ِ

ْ

لإ

ِ

ل

29 He led me away from the

Message after it had come to me; for

Satan has always been a betrayer of

man.”

ى مِ سٱلر َّ

ق

ن

ِ

إ

ِّ

ب

َ

ر

ٰ

يَ

وا

ُ

ذ

َ

خ

َّ

ا ٱت

َ

ذ

ٰ

َ

انءَ

ْ

ر

ُ

ق

ْ

ورً ا ٱل

ُ

ج

ْ

همَ

30 And the Messenger will say, “My

Lord, my people have abandoned

this Quran.”

ٍّ

ى

ِ

ب

َ

ن

ِّ

ل

ُ

كِا لنَ

ْ

جَ ع َ ل َكِل

ٰ

َ

ذ

َ

ك

َ

َ

ين

ِ

م

ِ

ر

ْ

ج

ُ

م

ْ

ۗ ٱل

َ

نا وَ

ً

ي

ِ

اد

َ

كَ ه

ِّ

برَ

ِ

ب

ٰ

ى

َ

ف

َ

يرً ا ك وَ

ِ

ص

31 Likewise, to every prophet We

assign enemies from among the

wicked. But your Lord suffices as a

Guide and Savior.

عَ ل

َ

ل

ِّ

ز

ُ

ن

َ

ْ

َ

ل

وارُ

َ

ف

انءَرْ

ُ

ق

ْ

ٱل

هِ

ِ

بتَ ب ِّ

َ

ثنُِكَ لِل

ٰ

َ

ذ

َ

ك ۚ

ً

ةَدحِ

ٰ

َ

و

ً

ة

َ

ۦ لمْجُ

ُ

ه

ٰ

نَ

ْ

ل

َّ

ت

َ

ر

َ

كَ ۖ وادَ

َ

ؤ

ُ

ف

ً

يلاتِرْ

َ

ت

32 Those who disbelieve say, “Why

was the Quran not revealed to him

at once?” Thus in order to

strengthen your heart thereby, and

We revealed it in stages.

أوَ

َ

ن

يرً ا

ِ

س

ْ

ف

َ

ت

33 Whatever argument they come to

you with, We provide you with the

truth, and a better exposition.

أا وَ

ا ن

ئ

ٓ

و۟ ل

ُ

أ

34 Those who are herded into Hell on

their faces—those are in a worse

position, and further astray from the

way.
