كتَنَ

ت فِ

وق

ُ

ىذِ ذ

َّ

هِ ٱل

ِ

ُ

ۦ ك

َ

ون

ُ

ل

ِ

جعْتَ

ْ

س

َ

ت

14 “Taste your ordeal. This is what

you used to challenge.”

َ

ينقِ

َّ

تمُ

ْ

ٱل

ٍ

و ن

ُ

يعُ

َ

و ٍت

ٰ

َّى جَ نفِ

15 But the pious are amidst gardens

and springs.

١٦

ل

ْ

ب

َ

ق

۟

وا

ُ

ان

َ

كمْ

ُ

ه

َّ

ن

ِ

إ ۚ مْ

ُ

ه

ُّ

ب رَ مْ

ُ

ه

ٰ

ى

َ

ات ءَ

ٓ

ا مَ

َ

ين

ِ

ذ

ِ

اخءَ

َ

ي ن

ِ

ن

ِ

س

ْ

ح

ُ

كَ م

ِ

ل

ٰ

َ

ذ

16 Receiving what their Lord has

given them. They were virtuous

before that.

١٧

َ

ن

ِّ

م

ً

يلا

ِ

ل

َ

ق

۟

وا

ُ

ان

َ

ك

ِ

ل

ْ

ي

َّ

ٱل

َ

و ن

ُ

جَ ع

ْ

ا ي َ همَ

17 They used to sleep a little at night.

بوَ

ِ

حَ ا رسْ

َ

ْ

ٱ لأ

َ

ون

ُ

ر

ِ

ف

ْ

غ

َ

ت يَ سْ مْ

ُ

ه

18 And at dawn, they would pray for

pardon.

١٩

َ

و

ِ

لِئ

ٓ

ا

َّ

لس

ِّ

ل

ٌّ

حَ قمْ

ِ

هِل

ٰ

َ

ومْ

َ

أ

ٓ

ىفِ

َ

و مِ رُ حْ مَ و

ْ

ٱ ل

19 And in their wealth, there was a

share for the beggar and the

deprived.

ض ِ رْ ى فِوَ ٢٠

َ

ْ

ٱلأ

َ

ينِنوقِ

ُ

م

ْ

ل

ِّ

ل

ٌ

ت

ٰ

ايَءَ

20 And on earth are signs for the

convinced.

٢١

َ

ونرُصِ

ْ

ب

ُ

ت

َ

لا

َ

ف

َ

أ ۚ مْ

ُ

كسِ

ُ

نف

َ

أ

ٓ

ىفِ

َ

و

21 And within yourselves. Do you not

see?

ى ٢٢

ِ

فوَ

ِ

ء

ٓ

امَٱلس َّ

َ

ون

ُ

وعَ د

ُ

ا تمَ وَ مْ

ُ

ك

ُ

ق

ْ

ز

ِ

ر

22 And in the heaven is your

livelihood, and what you are

promised.

٢٣

ِّ

برَ

َ

و

َ

ءِ ف

ٓ

امَ

َّ

ٱلس

َ

ضِ رْ و

َ

ْ

ٱلأ

ُ

ه

َّ

ن

ِ

ۥ إ

ٓ

ا مَ

َ

ل

ْ

ث

ِّ

م

ٌّ

حَ ق

َ

ل

َ

ون

ُ

قنطِ

َ

تمْ

ُ

ك

َّ

ن

َ

أ

23 By the Lord of the heaven and the

earth, it is as true as the fact that

you speak.

ْب ٢٤

إ فِ

ْ

ي

َ

ض

ُ

ي ثكَ حَ دِ

ٰ

ى

َ

ت

َ

أ

ْ

يمَ هِ لهَ

ٰ

رَ

َ

ينمِرَ

ْ

كمُ

ْ

ٱل

24 Has the story of Abraham’s

honorable guests reached you?

٢٥

ٌ

َ

ق

ٌ

ٰ

ل

َ

س

َ

ال

َ

مًا ۖ ق

ٰ

َ

ل

َ

س

۟

وا

ُ

ال

َ

ق

َ

فهِ

ْ

ي

َ

عَل

۟

وا

ُ

ل

َ

خ

َ

د

ْ

ذ

ِ

إ

َ

ون

ُ

ر

َ

نكم ُّ

25 When they entered upon him, they

said, “Peace.” He said, “Peace,

strangers.”

ٓ

ى

َ

ل

ِ

إ

َ

اغرَ

َ

ۦ ف

ٍ

ي نمِ

َ

س

ٍ

لجْ عِ

ِ

ب ءَ

ٓ

جَ ا

ف

26 Then he slipped away to his

family, and brought a fatted calf.

٢٧

بَهر َّ

َ

ق

َ

ۥٓ ف

َ

ون

ُ

ل

ُ

ك

ْ

أ

َ

ت

َ

لا

َ

أ

َ

ال

َ

قمْ

ِ

ه

ْ

ي

ل

27 He set it before them. He said,

“Will you not eat?”

٢٨

َ

ج َ سوْ

َ

أ

َ

ۖ ف

ْ

ف

َ

خ

َ

ت

َ

لا

۟

وا

ُ

ال

َ

ق ۖ

ً

ة

َ

يف

ِ

خمْ

ُ

ه

ْ

ن

ِ

م

يمٍ

ِ

عَ لمٍ

ٰ

َ

ل

ُ

غ

ِ

ب

ُ

وه

ُ

ر

َّ

بَشوَ

28 And he harbored fear of them.

They said, “Do not fear,” and they

announced to him the good news of

a knowledgeable boy.
