ي مِ حِ ٱ ل ر َّ مَحْٱلر َّ

In the name of Allah, the Gracious,

the Merciful.

ءٍ ٱل

َ

و

يرٌ دِ

َ

ق

1 Blessed is He in whose hand is the

sovereignty, and Who has power

over everything.

ْ

ٱل

َ

و

َ

وٰ ة

َ

حَ ي

ْ

مْ ٱ ل

َ

و ۚ

لا

َ

عَ م

ُ

ن

َ

سحْ

َ

أ

ُ

يز

ِ

عَ ز

ْ

ورُ ٱل

ُ

ف

َ

غ

ْ

ٱل

2 He who created death and life—to

test you—as to which of you is better

in conduct. He is the Almighty, the

Forgiving.

ى فِ ٱل

ٰ

ىرَ

َ

ا تا ۖ م َّ

ً

اق

َ

بتٍ طِ

ٰ

َ

و

ٰ

مَ

َ

عَ س

ْ

ب

َ

س

َ

ق

َ

ل

َ

خ

ِ

ق

ْ

ل

َ

خ

ِ

ن

ٰ

مَحْٱلر َّ

َ

تٍ ۖ ف ُو

ٰ

َ

ف

َ

ن تمِ

ِ

ع

ِ

رَصَ ٱ جٱرْ

َ

ب

ْ

ل

ْ

لهَ

ٍ

ور

ُ

ط

ُ

ن ف مِ

ٰ

ىرَ

َ

ت

3 He who created seven heavens in

layers. You see no discrepancy in

the creation of the Compassionate.

Look again. Can you see any

cracks?

َ

ص

َ

ب

ْ

َك ٱل

ْ

ي

َ

ل

ِ

ْ

بِل

َ

ي َ ن ق

رُ ٱل

ُ

ها وَ

ً

ئ

ِ

اس

َ

خ

ٌ

ي ر

ِ

حَ س وَ

4 Then look again, and again, and

your sight will return to you dazzled

and exhausted.

ا َّني َّ ٥

ء

ا

َ

َّ

ا ٱلس

َ

ي

ْ

ا هَ نٱلد ُّ

ٰ

َن

ْ

جَ ع َ ل

َ

َ

ي ح

ٰ

ص

َ

م

ِ

ب

ابَ

َ

عَذ

ْ

م

ُ

ه

َ

ا ل

َ

ن

ْ

د

َ

ت

ْ

ع

َ

أو ۖ َ

ِ

ين

ِ

ط

ٰ

َ

ي

َّ

لش

ِّ

ومً ا ل

ُ

ج

ُ

ر

ِ

ير

ِ

عٱلس َّ

5 We have adorned the lower

heaven with lanterns, and made

them missiles against the devils; and

We have prepared for them the

punishment of the Blaze.

ْ

ِ

ِّ

ب

ر

صمَ

ْ

ٱل

6 For those who reject their Lord,

there is the torment of Hell. What an

evil destination!

7 When they are thrown into it, they

will hear it roaring, as it seethes.

ۖ ٱل

ٓ

امَ

ل

يرٌ ذِ

نمْ

ُ

كتِ

ْ

يَأمْ

َ

ل

َ

س

8 It almost bursts with fury. Every

time a batch is thrown into it, its

keepers will ask them, “Has no

warner come to you?”

ُ

ال

ا ا مَ نَ ق

ٱلل

ٍ

ير

ب

َ

ك

ٍ

ل

ٰ

ل

َ

ى ض فِ

لا

إمْ

نت

َ

أ

ْ

ن

ِ

إءٍ

ْ

ى

َ

ن شمِ

9 They will say, “Yes, a warner did

come to us, but we disbelieved, and

said, ‘Allah did not send down

anything; you are very much

mistaken.’”
