ي مِ حِ ٱ ل ر َّ مَحْٱلر َّ

In the name of Allah, the Gracious,

the Merciful.

ٱ ل

َ

ونرُ

ُ

ط

ْ

ا يَ س

َ

م

َ

و

1 Noon. By the pen, and by what

they inscribe.

ٍ

ون

ُ

نجْ مَ

ِ

كَ ب

ِّ

ب رَ ةِمَعِْن

ِ

بنتَ

َ

أ

ٓ

امَ

2 By the grace of your Lord, you are

not insane.

َك ٣

َ

ل

َّ

ن

ِ

إ

َ

و

ٍ

ون

ُ

نمْ مَ رَ

ْ

ي

َ

رً ا غجْ

َ

َ

لأ

3 In fact, you will have a reward that

will never end.

ي مٍ عَ ظ ِ ٤

ق

ل

ُ

خ

ٰ

ى

َ

عَ ل

َ

كَ ل

َّ

ن

ِ

إوَ

4 And you are of a great moral

character.

ونرُصِ

ْ

بيُ

َ

ورُصِ

ْ

ب

ُ

ت

َ

س

َ

ف

5 You will see, and they will see.

فمَ

ْ

ٱل

6 Which of you is the afflicted.

ه َك َّبر َ

َّ

ن

ِ

ۦ إ

يندَِت

ْ

همُ

ْ

ٱل

7 Your Lord knows best who has

strayed from His path, and He

knows best the well-guided.

ٱل

َ

ِ

ب

ِّ

ذ

8 So do not obey the deniers.

وا

و

9 They would like you to

compromise, so they would

compromise.

لاوَ

10 And do not obey any vile swearer.

11 Backbiter, spreader of slander.

ي مٍ ِث ١٢

ْ

ل

ِّ

ل

ٍ

ا ع

َّ

نم َّ

12 Preventer of good, transgressor,

sinner.

ٍ

كَ زِل

ٰ

َ

ذدَ بَعْ

ۭ

ٍّ

ل

ُ

تعُ

13 Rude and fake besides.

١٤

ينبَنِ

َ

و

ٍ

ال

َ

ا م

َ

ذ

َ

ان

َ

ن ك

َ

أ

14 Just because he has money and

children.

يرُ طِ ١٥

َ

ال

َ

ا قنَ

ُ

ت

ٰ

ايَ ءَ هِ

ْ

ي

َ

عَل

ٰ

ى

َ

ل

ْ

ت

ُ

ا ت

َ

ذ

ِ

يِلو َّ إ

َ

ْ

ٱلأ

َ

ن

15 When Our Verses are recited to

him, he says, “Myths of the

ancients!”

16 We will brand him on the muzzle.

رصْ

17 We tested them, as We tested the

owners of the garden, when they

vowed to harvest it in the morning.
