SYMPTOMS/EXAM


■ Associated hyphema
■ Prolapsed iris or other intraocular tissue
■ Peaked pupil points to the rupture site (see Figure 14.46)

Rule out ruptured globe if you
see a hyphema in the setting
of trauma.
