the affirmative. Once that decision is made, you begin the exciting
journey through the rest of your life.


At the beginning of this book I described living a healthy life in
terms of a 1,000-mile journey. Throughout I have put forth the ideas
that I think will help you to achieve a lifetime of fitness, health and
human performance. We are now at the end of this book but this is
not the finish line. It’s only the starting line. Throughout my life’s
journey, I plan on continuing my quest to “spread the word” about
food, nutrition, exercise, disease prevention and healthy living past
age 100. And I plan to do it while having as much fun as possible.
Once again, I hope to see you at the finish line. But there’s one last
item as my epilogue describes.
