- In the Row Filters section, click inside the DAX fi lter textbox next to
DimProductCategory and type the following formula:
=DimProductCategory[EnglishProductCategoryName] = “Bikes”

Role Manager Window.- Click the Members tab.
- Click the Add button. The Select Users, Service Accounts, or Groups window opens.
Type the Windows user or group you wish to add to the new role and click OK. - Click OK to close the Role Manager window.
At this point you have created a role that limits its members to see only rows associated
with the Bikes Product Category. To test the new role follow these steps: - Click on the Model menu option and select Analyze in Excel.
- Select the Role option from the Analyze in Excel window.
