Chapter 59: Creating and Deploying Power View Reports

  1. Drag Category, Type, and Serve inside the card visualization.

  2. Reduce the width of the Card to form two columns, as shown in Figure 59-13.

  1. Click outside the Card visualization area on an empty area of the layout section.

  2. Drag Type to the layout section to create a new table. Click the downward facing arrow
    next to Type in the fi eld list, and select Add to Table as Count from the drop-down list.

  3. Click Column under the Design menu option of the Table Tools. The table changes to
    a Column Chart.

  4. Drag Serve to the layout section to create a new table. Click the downward-facing
    arrow next to Serve, and select Add to Table as Count from the drop-down list.

  5. Click Bar under the Design menu option of the Table Tools. The table changes to a
    Bar Chart.

  6. Drag Distributors to the layout section to create a new table.

  7. Click Slicer on the Ribbon menu. The table becomes a slicer.

  8. Drag Category Drawing outside and to the right of the Type Column Chart.

  9. Click Slicer from the Ribbon menu.

  10. Reorganize the data regions, as shown in Figure 59-14.

  11. Save the Power View Report.
