Procedure
adopted


AF is fed into Hot disc
is a slow speed rotary
disc installed near the
calciner bottom area.
Raw meal is fed, just
near to AF feeding
point & Tertiary air is
drawn from cooler

A small rotary tube is
install in precalciner
and part of Raw
meal feed, AF and
tertiary air is passed
through this tube
finally goes to Cal-
ciner

A small inclined
combustion grates
Is installed to feed
AF with air cannons
at the bottom. AF is
fed in this by feeding
screw and part of
Raw meal is fed, just
above AF feeding
point & Tertiary air is
drawn from cooler
