(Project Pridr) #1

  • FLS Low NOx Calciner –Thermal NOx generation inside the kiln when
it reaches to kiln inlet chamber is exposed to reducing atmosphere (Low
oxygen) area so that the generated NOx can be converted from NOx to
N2. Coal and feed is fired at one place and once NOX is suppressed in
reducing zone the TAD duct is placed for complete combustion of fired
coal by converting all CO in to CO2. This helps to reduce NOx up to
    20-25%

    • LNVT/Sinoma Low NOx Calciner –Thermal NOx generation inside the
kiln when it reaches to kiln inlet chamber is exposed to reducing
atmosphere (Low oxygen) area by diverting the tertiary air duct into
two lines main TAD with around 70 % air volume at meal feed pipe and
coal firing place so that the generated NOx can be converted from NOx
to N2 & other duct is at upper zone of calciner i.e. in oxidation area for
complete combustion of coal , this air duct is designed up to 30 % of total
TA and can be throttled as per requirement with the help of damper. This
helps to reduce NOx up to 20-25 %. Also optimized position of TAD, fuel
and meal feeding i.e. multistage combustion enhances efficient
combustion, which realize low NOx emission by principle of de-nitration in
      calciner.
