12.8 Conclusion
With above comparison of various burners FLS Jetflex burner and KHD Pyrojet are
better burners due to its lower Primary and conveying air requirement and stable
flame properties.
As far as operational experience is concern the pyro jet burner requires minimum
primary air among others and has better flame stability and momentum control.
Feasibility of using multi fuel solid and liquid fuels are to be taken into consideration
since designing stage during burner selection.
