amgoing to speak to you to-night,and I am
gomg to try to trace for you the famous two
pathsofthefindingoftheSelf-thepathswhich
maybe troddenseparately,but which for the
perfectionof Humanity mustfinallyblend mto
one. TheonepathisthePathof Knowledge,
andit leadstoLiberation; theotherpathisthe
Path of Devotion, and that, joined to right
knowledge, leads to that eternity of Service
whichitisthegreatestgloryofmantoattain.
ButbeforeItake upthese twopaths,there
is justaword ortv/o to be said on a matter
whichmaycleartheway,inorderthatwemay
definitelyunderstand theroadsalongwhichwe
