This remedy drains Damp-Heat from the Bladder and expels urinary stones. It is suitable to treat
the Root-cause of bleeding from the Bladder when this is due to Bladder-Heat or Damp-Heat. It
can be combined with the patent remedy YUNNAN TE CHAN TIAN QI PIAN Yunnan
Specially-Prepared Notoginseng Tablet (containing only San Qi) to treat the Manifestation, i.e.
stop bleeding. This remedy is contraindicated in pregnancy.
The tongue presentation appropriate to this remedy is a Red body with a yellow coating all over
and a thicker, sticky-yellow coating with red spots on the root.
Kidney Yin Deficiency with Empty-Heat
Clinical Manifestations
Scanty-dark urine with blood, dizziness, tinnitus, backache, exhaustion, feeling of heat in the
afternoon, night sweating.
Tongue: Red without coating.
Pulse: Floating-Empty.
