Same as above but with fewer symptoms of Dryness.

Explanation

This formula treats Lung-Yin deficiency with no dryness and no Empty-Heat.

• Mai Men Dong nourishes Lung-Yin.


• Dang Shen tonifies the Spleen according to the principle of strengthening the Earth to
  tonify Metal.


• Ban Xia counteracts any Phlegm or Dampness deriving from tonification of Yin.


• Gan Cao, Geng Mi and Da Zao tonify Qi and harmonize.

Variations

• If the asthma attacks are relatively frequent add Xuan Fu Hua Flos Inulae and Sang Bai
  Pi Cortex Mori albae radicis to restore the descending of Lung-Qi.
