Tiredness, slight breathlessness on exercise, palpitations, slight spontaneous sweating, pale
complexion, depression.


Tongue: Pale, midline crack reaching the tip.


Pulse: Empty, especially on the left Front position.


The tiredness in this pattern is slightly different from that in Spleen-Qi deficiency. In this case,
the person feels not only physically tired and slightly breathless but also mentally tired.


Treatment Principle


Strengthen the Heart, tonify Qi.

HE-5 Tongli, P-6 Neiguan, BL-15 Xinshu, Ren-17 Shanzhong, Ren-6 Qihai. All with reinforcing
method. Moxa is applicable.


Explanation



  • HE-5 and P-6 tonify Heart-Qi.

  • BL-15 is the Back-Transporting point of the Heart and it tonifies Heart-Qi, especially
    with direct moxibustion.

  • Ren-17 is the Front-Collecting point of the Upper Burner and it tonifies both Lung and
    Heart Qi.

  • Ren-6 tonifies Qi in general.
