General Prescription


HE-5 Tongli, P-6 Neiguan, BL-15 Xinshu, Ren-17 Shanzhong, Ren-6 Qihai and Du-14 Dazhui.
All with reinforcing method. Moxa must be used.


Explanation


The points are the same as for Heart-Qi deficiency, with the addition of Du-14 which warms
Heart-Yang when used with direct moxibustion.

Ren Shen Radix Ginseng 9 g
Huang Qi Radix Astragali membranacei 9 g
Wu Wei Zi Fructus Schisandrae chinensis 4.5 g
Zhi Gan Cao Radix Glycyrrhizae uralensis praeparata 3 g
Gui Zhi Ramulus Cinnamomi cassiae 4.5 g
Sheng Jiang Rhizoma Zingiberis offinalis recens 3 slices
Bai Zhu Rhizoma Atractylodis macrocephalae 6 g
Chen Pi Pericarpium Citri reticulatae 3 g
Dang Gui Radix Angelicae sinensis 6 g
Da Zao Fructus Ziziphi jujubae 3 dates

Explanation



  • Ren Shen, Huang Qi, Wu Wei Zi and Zhi Gan Cao in combination tonify Heart-Qi.

  • Gui Zhi and Sheng Jiang warm Heart-Yang and warm the channels and blood vessels.
