Explanation


This formula is for Dampness in the Bladder against a background of Kidney-Yang deficiency.



  • Shan Yao tonifies Spleen and Kidneys and relieves urinary dysfunction.

  • Rou Cong Rong, Tu Si Zi, Ba Ji Tian and Du Zhong tonify Kidney-Yang.

  • Shu Di, Shan Zhu Yu and Niu Xi tonify the Kidneys and Liver.

  • Wu Wei Zi and Chi Shi Zhi are astringent and they help to nourish the Kidneys.

  • Ze Xie drains Dampness and prevents excessive heating from the other herbs.

  • Fu Shen drains Dampness and calms the Mind.
