Modern Spanish Grammar: A Practical Guide

69.3.3 The future tense

The use of the future tense instead of the present tense lends more force to the
command.
No hablarás más con él. ¿Me has oído?
You won’t speak to him any more. Did you hear that?

Lo harás ahora mismo.
You’ll do it right now.

69.3.4 Te ordeno/mando que+ present subjunctive, te ordeno/mando+ infinitive

These constructions are uncommon, except as a reiteration of an order already given.
Te ordeno/mando que lo hagas. No discutas.
I’m ordering you to do it. Don’t argue with me.
Te ordeno/mando pedirle perdón.
I order you to apologize to him/her.
