Each of your students is at a different stage in learning their multiplication (or
addition) facts. You would like to be able to quiz them at their own level,
without having to come up with six or more individual quizzes each week. You
can have Excel generate the numbers randomly and then have each student
enter the addend or multiplier they are working on.

Solution and Overview

You will have Excel create four quizzes to a side in landscape mode, with 10 to
20 questions in each quiz. Each time the quiz is printed, the numbers will be
scrambled. Students will write in the number on whose facts they are working.

Creating the Solution

1. Format the page as landscape mode.
   Open a new file. From the File menu, select Page Setup, and then the Page
   tab. Click on the radio button labeled Landscape.
