Wrong Expectations


Dearlady!Youarethemistressofyourhousehold.Bewiseandunder-
standing.Keepan accountofyourexpenses. Budgetyourexpenditures
in away that itisnot detrimental to your wealthand honour.Do not
competewithothersandbeenviousofthem.Ifyouseeanicedressona
woman,orifyoubecomeinterested insomefurnishingsthatyouhave
seenatafriend'sorrelative'shouse,donotcompelyourhusbandtopur-
chasethemwhichisbeyondhisfinancialmeansandwouldforcehimto
borrow.Isn'titbettertowaituntilyourbudgetishigherorthereissome
extra saving to make nonessential purchases?


Itismostlytheignorantandselfishwomenwhosuccumbtoextravag-
ance andrivalry. These womenforcetheir husbands to be under debt
andtheybecomeexhaustedanddisgustedintryingtosatisfy,.'theun-
suitabledemandsof theirwives. Sometimes,the onlysolutiontothese
problems for the men is to go for a divorce or even commit suicide.


Thewomenwhohavenotperceivedthetruepurposeandmeaningof
marriageandinsteadtheyregarditintermsofbondagewherethehus-
bandisacquiredtofulfiltheirchildishdesiresandmaterialneeds.They
wantahusbandwhowillservethemlikeaslaveandwillnotobjectto
theirway ofspending. Thesewomensometimeseven go further.They
make their husbands spend more than their means which may entail
bankruptcy, murder, and other disastrous consequences.


Suchwomenareadisgracetootherwomen.If herhighexpectations
leadtodivorce,thewomanwillbedeprivedoftheloveofherchildren,
andwillhavetolivealifeofloneliness.Forthesewomenremarriagewill
nothappeneasily.Evenifitdoeshappen.itisnotcertainthatthemar-
riagewillworkoutsince mosthuman beingsdo notliketo bekept in
