Teach Yourself Visually Knitting

Intermediate Knitting Projects chapter 15

Simple Baby Sweater.

This is a very easy sweater. Knit in a
simple stripe pattern, it has minimal
shaping. Before you knit an adult size
sweater, it’s a good idea to try a baby
sweater first. That way, you can learn
how to construct an entire garment on
a smaller scale, in much less time. Plus,
a hand-knit sweater is one of the nicest
gifts you can give to welcome a new
baby into the world. The instructions
here include sizes ranging from
6 months to 6 years, in case you don’t
have a baby to knit for.
