Italian Dressing
The herbs used in this recipe are some of the easiest to grow at home. Fresh basil, oregano, cilantro, and parsley can all add true flavor to your
meals. Each also produces a flavor that makes a beautiful garnish and helps bring out the subtler flavors.
MAKES 2½ CUPS
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
2 tablespoons chopped fresh oregano
2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
Juice of 1 lemon
4 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon Bragg Liquid Aminos
½ cucumber, thickly sliced
1 tablespoon dried onion flakes
1 teaspoon paprika
1 cup filtered water
Combine all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend or pulse until smooth. The dressing can be covered and refrigerated for up
to 2 days.
