There may be a bit of overlap between the FMS and BMS. For example,
both may provide for some type of energy consumption reporting. In many
cases however facilities need both an FMS and a BMS (Fig. 12.2).

Facility Management Software

The FMS consists of a series of software modules that allow an owner or facility
manager to select modules based on operational and facility management needs.
Modules that may be included are described in following sections.

Work Order Management

A work order module tracks and monitors all service requests. A work order
