communist sources, nobody wanted to believe it, in spite of the fact that
I was the one who knew the communists best. When I say, out of good
experience, expose and fight the emotional plague wherever you can,
lest you be smothered by its evil doings, I am told not to worry about it.
But if we are ever to save the life and health of new generations from
the claws of the emotional plague, we must start finally to shed our
fears and wrong considerations and start fighting the evil-doers. I am
still advocating fiercely what I did 15 and 20 years ago in matters of sex­
economy. The red fascists fought me then on this issue as they fight me
now, because everybody who has some knowledge of history in natural
science knows well that I was right in my predictions which came true.
I never wanted the communist line in the Sex Reform League. There
was no communist line in sex reform. Always, the red fascists, the
Norman Haires and the Catholic Church embraced each other when it
came to fighting sex-economic insights into the necessities of a rational
sex education of children and adolescents. And please, don't let the
vicious Norman Haire blur your clear vision. He will not succeed, de­
famer that he is or tries to be, to discredit the revolutionary insights of
sex-economy by stamping them communist. They never were and never
will be. The only mistake I really made around the early thirties was to
believe that the communists, on the basis of their proclamations, would
be the ones to establish a rational sex-economy in Russia. We all know
what happened there.
I am afraid, Neill, we are in a bitter, desperate fight for the rescue
of childhood and young adulthood. The sex-economic movement was
the first in the history of sexology and natural science which put the
severe problems of natural genitality to the foreground and into the
consciousness of the world; and the representatives of condoms and
pervert homosexuals never could swallow or condone this great advance.
That is why they spit. And the last word will be ours and not theirs.
I am trying very hard to convince one of our good medical orgone
therapists to go over to England and to start a serious job there in
medicine. We have requests also from the Middle West, the West Coast,
South America and other regions of the globe. Things are moving very
fast and well.
