editorship of our new journal, International Journal for Sex-Economy
and Orgone Research. The first volume of my book, The Discovery of
the Orgone, is in print now and will be issued in about 6 weeks. This
first volume contains the history of the orgasm theory and of my work
since 1919 up to now.
Regarding this book and the journal, I would like to ask you whether
you could arrange for their distribution in the Empire. We also expect
from you papers for this journal. I think you will enjoy it as I do.
To come back to our Institute. The American group of the Institute
is organized now. The name is Orgone Research Institute. We have
broken through completely into the realm of experimental application
of the atmospheric Orgone radiation to different diseases, especially
cancer, with some amazing results. I think that this natural biological
energy will play some role in the coming deterioration of human health
in the course of the war. I only don't know how to get at the respective
authorities in the health departments of the English speaking world, so
as to make clear to them what a worked-out Orgone treatment would
mean as a help in the war effort. I would appreciate it if you have any
ideas. I am willing and ready to show them everything that I have got
and accomplished. The American group also has bought a house for
the laboratory and me to live in. You will find this new address on the
letterhead. So finally I am not depending any more on any landlord who
could throw me out when he wants to. * I hope to see you once in this
