What benefits have you experienced when you’ve set aside
time to talk and listen to God?


Next, consider the price you’ll have to pay to spend time
daily with God. To tell you that making and keeping a daily
appointment with God won’t cost you something would be
dishonest. But you might be surprised at what it has cost me to
get alone with God for one hour a day for over twenty-five
years. My time with God has only cost me a few lunch
appointments, a little less sleep, and a little less television.
What might it cost you?


Finally, consider the consequences of not having a daily
appointment with God.


If you skip your daily “God Talks,” you might miss hearing.

time-saving instruction,
an idea that could save you money,
an insight that would spare you heartache.
More important, I have personally found that if you miss
hearing God talk to you—by neglecting to set aside daily time
with Him—you’ll have less spiritual power in your life.
Conversely, by keeping a regular daily appointment with God,
more answers will be received and more power will be released
in your life than ever before!
