You don’t have to have children to pray Scriptures for
yourself or others. Find appropriate verses in the Bible as
templates for (1) releasing powerful prayers on behalf of those
you love; (2) articulating your need for God’s help in difficult
situations; and (3) building your faith so that you will grow
closer to God. For example, Habakkuk 3:2 is an amazingly
powerful Scripture to pray for anyone on any occasion: “I have
heard all about you, Lord. I am filled with awe by your amazing
works. In this time of our deep need, help us again as you did
in years gone by” (NLT).
