- Quilliam lists a selection of the Muslim organisations in Britain who
agree with "the Islamist" goal of an Islamic State, and those Muslim
organisations who do not. Suffice to say, that the number who want
Islamic State vastly outnumber the examples of those who do not (bear in
mind, this Quilliam document was printed several years before ISIS
appeared). "Preventing Terrorism: Where Next For Britain", Quilliam, 14
Jun 2010, https://www.scribd.com/document/34834977/Secret-Quilliam-
Memo-to-government/. Hizb ut Tahrir is listed as one of the leading
organisations seeking a return to the Islamic State. Before ISIS came into
being, the Hizb ut Tahrir website in Britain used to list their leaders. Hizb
ut Tahrir was established by a Sheikh, and nearly all the principal officers
are professionals in high positions in the UK (proving that those Muslims
who are educated are the vanguard who know well that Islam is
inseparable from politics). In Britain, both Tony Blair and David
Cameron promised to ban Hizb ut Tahrir. Neither Prime Minister
followed through on his promise; the UK media simply stopped reporting
on the existence of Hizb ut Tahrir, and by 2012 many educated people in
Britain thought that Hizb ut Tahrir had been banned. Instead, the agenda
for the creation of the Islamic State was just being put into place across
the Middle East. ↵
