Hsritha b. al-Humayr whom Ibn 'A'idh called "Khwija"; but God knows best.
Khxrija b. Zayd al-Khazraji, son-in-law of Abii Bakr; Khabbab b. al-Aratt, an
ally of the Banii Zahra, one of the original Emigrants, a man whose origins were
in the Bann Tamim, though some say in Khus'a; Khabbab, freed-man of Wtba
b. Ghazwb, one of the original Emigrants; Khir~sh b. al-Simma al-Sulami;
Khubayb b. Isaf b. qnaba al-Kbazraji; Khuraym b. Fatik who was included
among these by al-Bukh?iri; Khalifa b. 'Adi al-Khazraji; Khulayd b. Qays b.
al-Nu'mm b. Sinan b. CUbayd al-AnsW al-Sulami; Khunays b. Budhayfa b.
Qays b. 'Adi b. Sa'd b. Sahm b. 'Amr b. Hu~ays b. Ka'b h. Lu'ayy alSahmi, who
was killed at Badr, thus making Hafsa, daughter of Wmar b. al-Khatf~b, a
widow; Khawwat b. Jubayr al-Anvzri, who was accorded a share of the spoils,
though he was not himself present at Badr; Khawla b. Abii Khawla al-qjli, an
ally of the Bann 'Adi, one of the original Emigrants; Khallad b. M'; Khallad b.
Suwayd and Khallad b. 'Amr b. al-Jumiih, men of Khazraj.


THE LETTER DHAL.

Dhakwm b. 'Abd Qays al-Khazraji; Dhii alShiialayn b. 'Abd b. 'Amr b. Nadla
of Ghabshm b. Salim b. Malka b. Afgi b. Haitha b. 'Amr b. CAmir of the Banii
Khuzab, an ally of the Banii Zuhra who was martyred that day. Ibn Hishm
stated that his name was Wmayr and that he was only called Dhii al-Shimdayn,
i.e. "he with the two left hands" because be was left-handed.


THE LETTER RJ'
