And I am also a bee, a feeble bee,
a bee lost in the swarm of the hive,
I am the wax and oil of a lamp
outmatched by the fire of days,
a river, bewildered,
water from a spring,
turbulent, iridescent.
I am the ancient clay of potters
used to make the world.
