The characteristics of the Messiah.
Allah mentioned Jesus in numerous passages of the Quran honoring him with the
most noble of characteristics as follows:
1) He is to be held in honor and high esteem- Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from
Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honor in this world and
the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah.

2) That he possesses knowledge and wisdom- "And Allah will teach him the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel,

3) That he is blessed and a worshipper of God- "And He hath made me blessed wheresoever’ I be, and hath enjoined on me
Prayer and Charity as long as I live;
