all the other internal processes in the body fall in line and proceed at

Nutrition for the Meat Eater

If you are parasympathetic dominant and therefore a fast digester, you
have large quantities of hydrochloric acid in your stomach, so you
should eat red meat frequently. Also limit your intake of such acidic
nutrients as vitamin C, lemon juice, and vinegar as well as fruit so as
not to speed up your already too rapid digestion of protein. You also
have high levels of potassium in relation to calcium. This indicates you
should limit the amount of green, leafy vegetables in your diet, since
these foods are high in potassium. Generous amounts of calcium will
also help bring potassium levels into better balance. Vitamins that
should be taken in limited quantities because they speed up the meat
eater’s already too rapid digestion are B 1 , B 2 , B 3 in the form of niacin,
and B 6 ; limit the intake of these vitamins to 50 mg each daily.
Nutritional supplements and foods that should be eaten because they
slow the meat eater’s hyperactive digestion include peas, green beans,
caulifl ower, and root vegetables with the exception of well-cooked pota-
toes, which are digested quickly, as well as the nutrients phosphorus, B 3
in the form of niacinamide, inositol, choline, pantothenic acid, and B 15.
