Make a Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwich

DESCRIPTION:

Use for off-site delivery.

EXERCISE:

1. Break the students up into groups.


2. 5 - 10 minutes to write a job plan on how to make a peanut butter and
   jelly sandwich.


3. Have each group make a sandwich based on the instructions provided by
   another group (5minutes).


4. Have the groups identify what went well, and was unclear, what steps
   were missed, etc. and share with the class.


5. Debrief the class on this what the maintenance staff face every day with
   unclear work orders.... But on a much larger scale. No imagine how
   much more effective the craftsman would be if that had a well written
   job plan.
