  1. Add this mixture to the slow cooker.

  2. Add the marinated tofu.

  3. Layer the rice on top.

  4. Drizzle the remaining 1 tablespoon
    oil as a finishing touch over the rice and
    cook on low for 3 hours. Serve right out
    of the slow cooker as a fast, easy, and
    delicious one-pot meal.


To make this dish in a 5-quart (4.74-L)
slow cooker, double all the ingredients
and cook on low for 4 hours. A double
recipe makes 19 cups (4.50 L).
