Tod Lenhoff is the Founder and President of Lenhoff Financial
Group. Tod has over 29 years of professional experience pro-
viding financial advice to retired individuals. Tod has dedicated
his entire professional career to this field and is passionate
about helping senior clients meet their financial goals.Tod was born in Chicago and grew up in Los Angeles. In 1982, he graduated from
California State University, at Northridge. He started his financial career in Los Ange-
les working for the international financial accounting firm Ernst & Young, providing
advice to high net worth individuals on tax strategies, investment choices, insurance
options, and retirement planning.
Subsequently, Tod became a Certified Financial Trainer, teaching finance to top exec-
utives at IBM, Kodak, Caterpillar, Ingersoll-Rand, Valvoline, Qualcomm, Shea Homes,
and many other Fortune 500 companies. Tod even travelled above the Arctic Circle to
teach finance to the native Inupiat Eskimos of Kotzebue, Alaska!
In 1992, Tod made the quality of life choice to leave Los Angeles and head south
to San Diego, where he opened his current tax and financial practice in Vista. Tod
specializes in financial planning for retirees to invest prudently, save taxes, have a
catastrophic illness game plan, and maximize the estate legacy.
Tod is fully credentialed in many financial arenas. Tod is a CPA, Elder Planner,
Securities Registered (both Series 7 and Series 66), Investment Advisor Repre-
sentative, Insurance Licensed (Lenhoff Senior Planning, Inc. California Life License
#0D86642), and a Certified Financial Trainer.
