Many business owners have the misconception that, in order to take ad-
vantage of the power of the Internet, all they need to do is put up a basic
website that gives some information about their business and maybe
includes their phone number. Once they’ve done this, business will just
roll in... or so they hope.

Unfortunately it’s not quite that simple.

Your website needs to be more than just a “brochure” giving some basic
information about your company. Your website needs to be a marketing
website if you hope to achieve Ultimate Success. If generating leads and
making sales are important to your business, your website needs to be
set up to facilitate these goals.

It’s interesting to watch the evolution of marketing throughout the years.
While the methods have changed, the need to be marketing oriented has
not changed. Some years ago we had the Yellow Pages as a main source
to find businesses.
