My career today in real estate sales is not where I anticipated I would
be after earning an accounting degree from Penn State University and
an MBA in Finance from Pepperdine University. It’s very interesting
how an individual’s career path can lead them through such a variety of
experiences and into unexpected places. For almost two decades I’ve
had the great privilege to work with some of the top executives in the
real estate industry across the country. In fact, as a former national Vice
President of Prudential Real Estate, I was responsible for managing a
$300 million real estate portfolio. As a result, I had the experience of
serving on the boards of several of the largest real estate firms through-
out the United States. This type of background has given me a unique
perspective on the real estate industry that is not available to most local
realtors. It was during this time that I formulated certain principles that I
believe can be translated into any business or profession to help anyone
achieve great success. I would like to share those principles with you.

A. knoWleDge Is PoWeR

As an expert in finance, I have been able to combine my formal educa-
tion with the realities I faced on a daily basis in the high dollar, high en-
ergy, and high intensity world of one of the largest real estate and finan-
cial institutions in the country. Believe me, it could be a pressure cooker
at times. But they were years of gaining knowledge that most people in
