  • Theparents:Custodyandkindtreatmenttotheparentsarethetight-
    est matters of family attachment. We have previously referred to this
    point.

  • Thenearofkin:Theyarethebrothers,paternalandmaternaluncles,
    andtheirsonsinadditiontotheotherkinsmenandkinswomen.Using
    charityto theseindividuals dispersesloveamong thefamily members.
    Family is surely the first brick in the social structure.

  • Theorphans: Theyare thosewho losttheirparents.The nationen-
    tirelyisresponsibleforcaringandeducatingtheorphansasaformofthe
    socialsolidaritythat Islamhasimposed.It hasalsodecreedofmeeting
    the needs of the handicapped, the weak, and the orphans.

  • Thepoor:Theyarethepauperswhoareunabletomeettheirannuity.
    Hence, Islam has ordered the nation of saving the needs of the poor.
    Islamhasalsogiventhemexclusivelya gooddealof socialobligations
    andaportioninthepoorrate,sothattheywillgetridofpoverty,which
    should be eradicated totally from the Islamic society.

  • The neighbors,whether the near of kinor the alien:God ordersof
    treatingtheneighborskindlyinordertoachievefirmbondsofloveand
    associationamongpeopleofthesamequarter.Thisissurelyone ofthe
    reasons of the social connection and attachment.

  • Thewayfarers:Theyarethosewholosealltheirfortunebeforethey
    arriveintheirhometowns.Islamhasorderedofattendingtothemcare-
    fullyandmeetingtheirneedsuntiltheyreachtheirhomes.Inaddition,a
    portion of the poor rate is allotted to them.

  • Theslaves:Islamhasurgedondoinggoodtotheslavesbymanumit-
    ting them and treating them kindly and avoiding intruding them to
    heavy duties.
    Charity andbenevolence to thoseparties creates amiabilityand em-
    powersthe reciprocal socialbondsto makepeoplerepresent one hand
    against their enemies.
