The following steps describe how to set up a DSN that connects to an ODBC data source:


  1. Select the External Data ribbon tab, and click the ODBC Database button in the Import &
    Link group (shown in Figure 37.3).

Access opens the Get External Data – ODBC Database dialog box (shown in Figure 37.4).

  1. Select the Link to the Data Source by Creating a Linked Table option, and click OK.


The Select Data Source dialog box (shown in Figure 37.5) appears.
