Select the table or query containing the data needed by the crosstab in the next wizard dialog box
(see Figure 18.29). Notice that the Crosstab Wizard treats tables and queries as equivalent data
sources. In some cases, you may have to construct a new query that provides the raw data needed
by the crosstab’s objective.

You specify the row headings (Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, and so on) in the next Crosstab Wizard
dialog box (see Figure 18.30). A little planning ahead of time makes this step, and the following
steps, much easier.
