Confirm with the data manager that the BP monitor is plugged in to an uninterruptible
power supply (UPS). (Enter ‘Confirmed’ with {initials of data manager} in Comments
field). Confirm with the data manager that the treadmill and the UPS for the BP monitor are
on different power circuits. (Enter ‘Confirmed’ with {initials of data manager} in
Comments field). Calibrate SECA scale - Full. If the scale is off by 1 pound or more with the 5 weights
placed on it, inform the MEC manager. A replacement scale will be sent to the MEC.
See Section 2.4.1 for calibration procedures. Calibrate SECA stadiometer. If the reading is off by greater than 1 cm, inform the
MEC manager. Use the stadiometer until a replacement is sent. See Section 2.4.2 for
