3.9.1 1 End of Test

Assist the SP off the treadmill. It is normal to feel as if you are still moving, especially if you

are not accustomed to walking on a treadmill. Remove BP cuff, disconnect the leads, and ask the SP to

remove and dispose of the electrodes.

3.10 Procedure if Values Exceed Criteria

The system has the following edit limits set on these measurements:

„ HR Stage 1 > 80 percent PMHR AND SP is exhausted and unable to continue.

„ HR Stage 2 > 8 5 percent PMHR (>90% for 1 2 through 18 years AND SP is
exhausted and unable to continue.)

„ HR Warm-up, Stage 1 or Stage 2 > 100%.

„ SBP > 260 mmHg

„ DBP > 115 mmHg

„ RPE > 17 (See below “Exception for RPE greater than 17 at end of Stage 2.”)

„ If one or more of these measurements are above the acceptable criteria, the system
will display a message:

“Check message on monitor.”

„ The system will then display a message “(Data item) is not within the acceptable
limits. Go to Recovery.”

„ Press the ‘Go to Recovery’ button.
