high found from certain strains of cannabis are sadly taken for
recreational purposes in bars and clubs. Ancient cultures see this
as a total abuse, and this applies to food habits as well. They feel
that it is important to follow strict rituals. The use of such
substances is recommended close to where they grow naturally,
as with all foods.

Juicing
 -

 the

 Pulp

Pulp is not a waste product - it is best mixed back in with the juice.
For some stringier pulps such as wheat grass there are many
varied uses from cakes to skin cleansers in Section Two.

Juicing
 -

 Juicers

Not all juices are alike, professional juicers, such as the Champion
and Green Life operate on a mastication process. They chew the
fibres and break up the cells of vegetables and fruits. This gives
you more fibre, enzymes, vitamins and trace minerals and a
darker, richer colour. More value is extracted from mastication
juicers than the conventional centrifugal-type juicers. You can
really taste and feel the difference.

Investing in a quality juicer is well worth the expense as it
allows full nutritional value to be obtained without destruction by
heat. Juicers are also great for homogenising products, and they
make excellent ice cream, nut butters, baby foods, purees as well
as your fruit and vegetable juices. The Green Life, which has a
twin gear motor is recommended for those using it for mainly
green juices, and the Champion for fruit, and ease of cleaning.
High powered mixers such as the Vitamix also produces juices,
loosing no nutrition whatsoever. If you do not want the pulp then
you just strain it out. It is also powerful enough to make ice
creams. All available from FRESH (see resource section).
