It is imperative that we learn to treat our bodies - our
vehicles -as human beings on this planet with loving kindness and
compassion. It is time to become aware as to what our bodies
want. Is it food for energy? Do we need more protein, vitamins,
live or raw foods? Is our diet satisfying? Is it food we would share
with others? How do we receive this food? Is this food contributing
to the highest good of others (packaging, chemicals, food miles)
and the overall good of our life purpose? Are we eating to hide our
emotions, our need for security, safety, nurturing, a sense of
belonging, or unconditional love? Is it food at all?
'"I can't believe that", said Alice
"Can't you?" said the queen in a pitying tone "Try again.
Draw a long breath and shut your eyes"
Alice laughed. " There's no use trying" she said "One can't
believe impossible things."
"I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the
Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a
day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible
things before breakfast.'"

Meditation
Establish a comfortable, still and relaxed meditation
posture. Tune into your present experience; your body, your
feelings and your life in general; how does it feel? Try to
experience your emotional response.
