These include hemp seeds, hulled hemp seeds and hemp oil.
They are the base for many of the recipes in this book. You can
now buy pre-made hemp pesto, hemp ice-cream (dairy free hemp
milk based), hemp crunch breakfast cereal and hemp breads.
However, home made produce really is best.
You can make milk, cheese, yoghurt and even oil from
hemp seed, with the right equipment.

&
By-products
If you are still eating the lesser carbohydrate foods, then these are
your best organic choices:
Millet, corn, oats, brown rice, basmati rice, rye, buckwheat,
ramen noodles, seitan, amasake, miso, bread from whole-grains,
wheat germ chick peas, green & brown lentils, tofu, tempeh, soya
beans, black-eye beans, split peas, pinto beans, soya milk.
(Beans do sometimes cause flatulence, you can avoid this
by adding kelp, kombu and Hempso(tm) sauce at the end of
cooking, by making sure the beans are well cooked and by eating
smaller portions.)
